What is a Chiropractic Adjustment?

Chiropractic adjustment or manipulation is a manual procedure that utilizes specific force in a precise direction that helps normalize spinal function. The skills are developed during  intensive years of chiropractic education. The adjustment is applied to a joint that is fixated, "Locked up",or not moving properly. The chiropractor uses his or her hands (or an instrument) to manipulate the joints of the body, particularly the spine, in order to restore or enhance joint function. This type of procedure often helps to resolve joint inflamation, thereby reducing the patient's pain. Chiropractic adjustments help return the bones to a normal position or motion, restoring the body's ability to heal naturally. Chiropractic adjustment is a highly controlled procedure that rarely causes discomfort. It is the job of the chiropractor to adapt the procedure to meet the specific needs of each patient. Patients often note positive changes in their symptoms immediately following treatment.

Computerized Posture Analysis

Computerized Dynamic Posturography, or CDP, measures the systems responsible for your balance. Those systems need to receive proper information from the inner ear, eyes, and  somatosensory nerves. A CDP verifies which systems are being used by your brain to maintain balance, as well as your motor abilities.

Muscle Function Test

Also known as computerized muscle test, it is a test used to evaluate the amount of force your muscles, tendons, and body is able to produce.
