Rommel Vargas started his professional career as a Physical Therapist in the  Philippines in 1998 and relocated to New York to continue his career in 2000.

 

Mr. Vargas earned his Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy in 1998 from Emilio Aguinaldo College in the Philippines, one of the pioneer schools in the country to offer a Physical Therapy course. From 1998 to early 2000, he worked as a staff physical therapist, then became the rehabilitation supervisor at the Integrated Care Medical Center.  He was also the vice president of Rehabworks, a private company that provides home care for post-op orthopedic patients.

 

In early 2000, he moved to New York.  His education is fully accredited by the New York State Education Office of the Professions. Over the years he has refined his expertise in the care of both in and out-patient settings. He has extensive experience and post-academic training in the assessment and treatment of general and athletic orthopedic and neuromuscular cases. He works extensively with patients with orthopedic injuries, chronic pain, neurological disorders, and fibromyalgia. He treats patients with utmost care and focuses individually on their particular case, assessment and needs. He utilizes an integrated manual therapy approach reinforced by functional exercise patterns. Strength and flexibility deficits are identified and addressed, resulting in a  treatment plan focused on reducing potential vulnerability and future musculoskeletal breakdown.
