A complete blood count (CBC) is a routine blood test performed through a finger stick that provides information about the number of cells in the blood. This test is performed during wellness exams and can also be used to diagnose conditions such as anemia or infection. The results of a CBC takes just minutes to obtain and can measure the white blood cell, red blood cell, platelet and hemoglobin count.
